We do not represent products as OEM unless clearly specified.
While we aim to provide accurate descriptions and images:
• Product appearance may vary
• Specifications may change without notice
• Compatibility may vary between vehicles
3. Orders & Acceptance
All orders are subject to acceptance by Bakkies.co.za.
We reserve the right to:
• Accept or decline any order
• Cancel orders due to pricing errors, stock issues, or supplier constraints
An order is only confirmed once payment has been received and processed.
4. Pricing & Payment
• All prices are subject to change without notice
• Prices may exclude shipping, installation, or additional components unless stated
• Full payment is required before dispatch unless otherwise agreed
5. Shipping & Risk
• Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed
• We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers or external factors
• Risk transfers to the customer once goods are handed to the courier
6. Installation & Fitment
We strongly recommend professional installation.
Important:
• “Plug & play” is not guaranteed in all cases
• Vehicles may differ in wiring, modules, or prior modifications
• Additional parts (e.g. harnesses) or adjustments may be required
Where installation is performed:
• We are not responsible for issues caused by third-party installers
• DIY installations are done at the customer’s own risk
7. Compatibility Disclaimer
While we assist in selecting suitable products:
• We do not guarantee compatibility in all cases
• Vehicle-specific differences may affect functionality
• Some products require adaptation, coding, or additional components
Outcome:
We will assist in working towards a solution, but compatibility-related issues do not automatically qualify for a refund.
8. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
Our Returns Policy forms part of these Terms.
8.1 Defective Products
If a product has a confirmed manufacturing defect:
• It will be assessed
• We will repair, replace, or refund at our discretion
8.2 Incorrect Items Supplied
If we supplied the wrong product:
• We will arrange collection at our cost
• We will replace or refund
8.3 Change of Mind / Incorrect Orders
If:
• The wrong item was ordered
• The customer changes their mind
• The product is no longer wanted
Then:
• Returns are only accepted by agreement
• A handling/restocking fee will be charged
• Return courier costs are for the customer
• Items must be unused and in original packaging
8.4 Compatibility & Installation Issues
Refunds will not be granted where:
• The product is not defective
• The issue relates to vehicle compatibility
• Installation was attempted without professional fitment
We will assist in resolving issues, but not all installations are plug & play.
8.5 Inspection
All returned items are subject to inspection before any outcome is confirmed.
8.6 Non-returnable Items
• Special-order or custom items
• Used or installed items (unless defective)
9. Warranty
Warranty is limited to manufacturing defects only.
Warranty does not cover:
• Incorrect installation
• Vehicle compatibility issues
• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by third parties
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Bakkies.co.za is not liable for:
• Indirect or consequential losses
• Installation-related issues
• Vehicle-specific incompatibility
• Loss of use, profit, or time
11. Third-Party Services
We may recommend installers or service providers.
These are independent parties, and we are not liable for their workmanship or outcomes.
12. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, and materials remain the property of Bakkies.co.za and may not be used without permission.
13. Privacy
